Scholarship and fellowship awards include tuition, fees and a stipend. The graduate stipend is $2,300 per month and the undergraduate stipend is $1,000 per month. The average yearly award to graduate students is $44,000. The average yearly award to undergraduate students is $26,500. Tuition and fees are paid directly to the university and stipends directly to the awardee. These numbers reflect the tuition payments expected for the school year 2004-2005. The total award value differs slightly for each student because tuition rates fluctuate between schools. For other participants, stipends vary. |
