Health Administration Traineeships Program

Who Can Apply

    State (Includes District Of Columbia; Includes Institutions Of Higher Education And Hospitals)
    Public Nonprofit Institution/Organization (Includes Institutions Of Higher Education, Hospitals)
    Private Nonprofit Institution/Organization (Includes Institutions Of Higher Education, Hospitals)

    Applicant Eligibility:
    Eligible applicants are public or nonprofit private educational entities (including graduate schools of social work and business schools that have health management programs and Faith Based and Community Based organizations) that offer a graduate program in health administration, hospital administration or health policy analysis and planning accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education http://www.cahmeweb.org/. Applicants must assure that, in providing traineeships, priority will be given to students who demonstrate a commitment to employment with public or nonprofit private entities in health administration and management. Schools of Public Health are not eligible.

    Student/Trainee

    Beneficiary Eligibility:
    The graduate health administration student must be a U.S. citizen, or non-citizen national foreign nationals who posses a visa permitting permanent residence, and enrolled in an accredited program in health administration, hospital administration, or health policy analysis and planning. Student applicants must meet the admission requirements of the graduate program.

    Credentials/Documentation:
    Applicants should review the individual HRSA Guidance documents issued under this program for any required proof or certifications which must be submitted prior to or simultaneous with submission of an application package.
