        EXAMPLES OF FUNDED PROJECTS: Lists of awards made in the past 5 years, in each active grant program, are available on the agency's web site at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ep/funded.html.

PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
        In fiscal year 200, 235 awards were made for projects in health information infrastructure, medical informatics and biomedical computing research, and academic publication. The applications were in response to Program Announcements and Requests for Applications, initiated by nonprofit institutions, small businesses, and independent scholars, and were for planning, implementing, evaluating, and training activities. It is anticipated that approximately 208 awards will be issued in fiscal year 2006 and approximately 210 awards will be issued in fiscal year 2007.
